Salmon Tray Bake

You can mix this up, or leave things out if you like, this is just my version of this bowl 🙂It may be a nice option to do a build your own burger night with buns too! I just love bowls with all the colours and variety.

Ingredients

(per bowl)

Beef burger patty (You could also use a venison/ostrich/chicken burger patty)

Pickled red onions

Sauerkraut

Greek salad

Tomatoes

Cucumber

Peppers

Crisp lettuce

Avo

Olives

Feta

Sweet potato wedges

Kara orange sweet potatoes

Tzatziki (To serve 4)

1 cup yoghurt (greek works best, if possible)

½ cucumber, grated and excess water drained well by squeezing in a clean towel/cloth

1 Tbsp apple cider/white wine vinegar/lemon juice

½ Tbsp garlic infused olive oil

1 Tbsp fresh dill

Sea salt

Directions

  1. Cut the sweet potatoes into wedges, brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper

  2. Wash and chop the salad ingredients

  3. Make the burger patties in the pan/on the braai or in the air fryer. I used the pan and put the sweet potatoes in the air fryer.

  4. While the patties are cooking, make the tzatziki. Once the cucumber is drained well, add to the yoghurt, vinegar, oil, dill and season.

  5. Build your bowl, with the salad first, and top with the burger patty, sweet potato wedges, pickled onions, sauerkraut and tzatziki and enjoy :)
